Cellocator Launches CR200

  • Cellocator Launches CR200, a Compact Cost Effective Solution for Fleet Management and Stolen Vehicle Recovery Service
Rosh Haayin, Israel- March 13, 2012 –Cellocator, a Pointer Telocation Division, (Nasdaq Capital Market: PNTR, Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange: PNTR), has launched its CR200 unit for offering a reliable yet affordable solution for Fleet Management and Stolen Vehicle Recovery applications.
 
Cellocator, a leading Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) technology provider with more than 800,000 units installed in over 55 countries, has developed the CR200 to provide the market with a compact size entry level device for Fleet Management and Stolen Vehicle Recovery applications. The device is available in two flavors, CR200 and CR200B, targeting large fleets, insurance and leasing companies. CR200 units are characterized by Cellocator’s high level of quality and are offered at a competitive price for large scale deployments. The CR200B is equipped with a built in rechargeable battery and GSM jamming detection algorithms for improved compliance with vehicle security applications. The devices are fully certified for automotive standards in accordance with EU and US directives.

The company will officially introduce Compact GLONASS in Moscow to partners and customers in a one-day seminar on March 28
 
Rosh Haayin, Israel- March 19, 2012 –Cellocator, a Pointer Telocation Division, (Nasdaq Capital Market: PNTR, Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange: PNTR), has launched its Compact GLONASS Solution, catering to service providers in the automotive Russian market.

Russia's Global Navigation Satellite System (GLONASS) has reached global coverage, and is now being promoted by the government for commercial use in Russia. The GLONASS constellation has 24 operating satellites to date with a total of 31 satellites in orbit. 

Catering to the need of its customers in the Russian and CIS territories, Cellocator introduces an integrated GLONASS-GPS solution, Compact GLONASS. The solution is comprised of Cellocator’s Compact unit and an external active GLONASS/GPS antenna, offering small footprint solution, ease of installation, and enhanced positioning accuracy.
